Rose: You Are Who You Eat Work-in-Progress
work-in-progress showing
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a once-in-a-lifetime true story about gender cannibalism as we refine its flavor. For four nights in March, you have the chance to see a work-in-progress showing of a new, special treat: Rose: You Are Who You Eat by John Jarboe.
Rose is the true story of how John ate her sister in the womb, which, according to her aunt, made her who she is. Come see this cornucopia of music, art, theater, floral arrangements, chicken bones and gender fuckery before we take it on the road to New York City and Washington DC. We will be showing this delicious performance in the side stage of FringeArts as it blossoms from its renovations – a real work-in-progress in a work-in-progress.
Tickets are invitation only. If you did not receive an invitation and would like to reach out, please do so via the contact form: https://www.beardedladiescabaret.com/contact/
To see the finished version, please see the events at Works & Process at the Guggenheim or CulturalDC
