From Judy and Liza to Mommie Dearest, a show exploring and exploding what it means to be gay.

Pig Iron Theater Company’s Dito Van Reigersberg and the Bearded Ladies’ John Jarboe delve heel-first into gay male iconography in My Dinner with Dito: A How to Be Gay Cabaret.

A musical gay dinner in courses, this piece, which premiered at the Wilma Theater in the summer of 2013, asks who gay men are, who we have been, and what we are losing or might lose as we approach assimilation.
