Join the Beardmobile and beloved Beards performers Jarbeaux and Sam Rise for Spiral Q’s 23rd annual Peoplehood Parade and Pageant on Saturday, October 21st!
You’re invited! Peoplehood is not just an event, it is also a beautiful art-making and community building process that takes hundreds of artists, activists, adults, children, and community members to create. Peoplehood is shaped by the people who create it, and we’d love you and/or your group to be a part of that process.
Last year an incredible 43 groups, and over 600 people, joined the Peoplehood Parade to represent their work, their communities, and to walk in solidarity with each other as we celebrate those living and working at the forefront of fighting against oppression and discrimination.
WHEN:

Parade LINES UP at 12PM
and DEPARTS at 1PM
Begins at The Paul Robeson House
4951 Walnut Street in West Philadelphia,
and moves into Clark Park at 45th Street and Kingsessing
The parade will be followed by performances in the “dog bowl” around 2:15.
